(p. xiii) Acknowledgments

Putting together the Oxford Handbook of Undergraduate Psychology Education has been a pleasure because doing so allowed me to solicit excellent work from friends old and new. I am grateful to all the contributors for their scholarly efforts, good writing, and patience with the process—this was a large project for all concerned but I believe the wait has been worthwhile. Besides the contributors, I want to thank the ongoing inspiration for projects like this from my colleagues in The Society for the Teaching of Psychology, Division Two of the American Psychological Association. Teaching, learning, and novel pedagogies have long been the concern of the dedicated peers who drive that dynamic organization. Oxford University Press continues to be a wonderful place for scholars to share their research and writing. I am grateful to my colleagues there—Abby Gross, Suzanne Walker, Anne Dellinger, and Molly Balikov—for their attention to detail and generous vision. Moravian College and my Psychology Department colleagues support all my endeavors, and I want to particularly thank the Faculty Development and Research Committee (FDRC) for a summer grant that helped me complete this project. Although they may not realize it, my children, Jacob Dunn and Hannah Dunn, continue to guide my work. This Handbook is dedicated to an outstanding colleague, Ruth L. Ault, who has done much to promote high quality teaching of psychology at the undergraduate level. (p. xiv)
