Abstract and Keywords

This chapter examines qualitative research from 1990 to the present that is focused on how people learn to teach music in preservice music teacher education programs. The primary goal is to coordinate and synthesize what is known currently about how people learn to teach music. A second goal is to provide directions for future research and considerations for improving quality.
