Abstract and Keywords

The concept of flow is one that is central to understanding human motivation and the capacity of humans to function optimally in the psychological realm. In this chapter, the concept of flow is defined and described from its dimensional perspective. An overview of some of the research that has been conducted on flow is provided, measurement options are explored, and the critical question of how to facilitate this optimal psychological state is addressed.
