Abstract and Keywords

Over the past 15 years, psychologists embraced the importance social connections more than ever before. The chapters that included in the Oxford Handbook of Social Exclusion offer the most comprehensive and cutting-edge research on the impact of social exclusion ever assembled. In this concluding chapter, I provide an overview of the six basic lessons we learned and suggest avenues for future research.
