Jeffry A. Simpson

Jeffry A. Simpson is Professor of Psychology and Director of the Doctoral Minor in Interpersonal Relationships at the University of Minnesota. His research interests focus on adult attachment processes, human mating, idealization in relationships, empathic accuracy in relationships, social influence in relationships, and how interpersonal experiences early in life affect adult health and relationship outcomes. He has served as editor of the journal Personal Relationships and the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology: Interpersonal Relations and Group Processes (JPSP-IRGP). His programs of research have been funded by grants from the National Science Foundation, the National Institute of Mental Health, the National Institute of Aging, and the Marsden Foundation in New Zealand.

Lorne Campbell

Lorne Campbell earned his Ph.D. at Texas A&M University in 2001. He was an assistant professor at Simon Fraser University before joining the faculty at the University of Western Ontario in 2002, where he is currently an associate professor of psychology. From 2008 to 2009 Lorne was a Harrington Faculty Fellow at the University of Texas at Austin in the Department of Human Development and Family Sciences. Dr. Campbell is a recognized expert in the fields of interpersonal relationships, research design and data analysis, and evolutionary psychology. He is on the editorial board of Journal of Personality and Social Psychology and Personality and Social Psychology Bulletin, and was the editor of the journal Personal Relationships. His research is currently funded by the Social Science and Humanities Research Council of Canada (SSHRC), and his work has been published in Journal of Personality and Social Psychology, Personality and Social Psychology Bulletin, Personal Relationships, Personality and Individual Differences, and Journal of Social and Personal Relationships.
