Abstract and Keywords

This chapter deals with the growth of the Muslim population in Scandinavia (Denmark, Norway, and Sweden) and the socio-economic and political conditions Muslims face and negotiate. Throughout, parallels and difference between the three countries are discussed. A special focus is on Islamophobia and the ethnification of Muslims. The chapter also discusses the research available and future possible research topics for Muslim studies.
