Vickie L. Bajtelsmit is a Professor in the Department of Finance and Real Estate at Colorado State University and First Community Bank Faculty Fellow. She holds a Ph.D. in Insurance and Risk Management from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Business (1994) and a J.D. from Rutgers University School of Law (1982). Dr Bajtelsmit has published in a variety of academic and professional journals, including the Journal of Risk and Insurance, Journal of Pension Economics and Finance, and Benefits Quarterly. She is also the author of two books, The Busy Woman's Guide to Financial Freedom (AMACOM, 2002) and Personal Finance (John Wiley & Sons, 2005).
