Diane L. Swanson, the von Waaden Professor at Kansas State University, holds a Ph.D. in Business from the University of Pittsburgh and publishes widely on corporate social responsibility. She is the recipient of the 2001 Award for Best Article in Business and Society and the 2004 Best Ethics Educator Award.
